Hazrat Abdul Quader
Hazrat Abdul Quader was very truthful from his boyhood. Once he was going to Baghdad for education with some merchants. His mother sewed forty gold coins in his shirt. On their way to Baghdad a gang of robbers fell upon and looted them. The leader of the robbers said that perhaps the boy had nothing with him. But Abdul Quader said that he had forty gold coins in his shirt. Seeing his truthfulness the robbers felt ashamed and gave up robbery.
9. Suppose you are Manik and your friend is Hafiz. He often tells a lie without any reason. Recently you have read about Hazrat Abdul Quader Jilani (Rh.) and his truthfulness. Now write a letter to your friend about the good result of truthfulness. Use the following cues in your letter.

Take my love. Hope that you are fine. I am well too. I know you are used to tell a lie as a fun. But today I am going to write to you about the good result of truthfulness.
You may have heard the name of Hazrat Abdul Quader Jilani (Rh.). He was a famous religious figure in Islam. Once he was sent to Baghdad for education with some merchants. His mother sewed forty gold coins in his shirt and advised him never to tell a lie even in danger. On their way a gang of robbers attacked them and looted their money. They thought Abdul Quader was a small boy and he had nothing with him. But the boy told that he had forty gold coins sewed in his shirt. The robbers became surprised at his truthfulness. They felt ashamed of their deeds and gave up robbery.
No more today. I think you will be able to understand the good result of truthfulness. And you will take it positively. Take care.
