Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport:
Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport is the largest airport in Bangladesh. It is located in the capital Dhaka and started operations in 1980. Approximately 4 million international and 1 million domestic passengers as well as 150,000 tons of freight mail pass through the airport annually. The airport has a capacity of 8 million passengers per year.
Suvarnabhumi Airport:
Suvarnabhumi Airport is located in Racha Thewa in the Bang phli district of Samut Prakan province, 30 kilometers east of Bangkok. It is the biggest airport of Thailand. It started operations in 2006. The airport has two parallel runways. It can handle 76 flight operations per hour. It can handle 45 million passengers and 3 million tones of cargo per year. It is the fourth biggest passenger terminal building in the world.
