প্রিয় শিক্ষার্থী, আজ ইংরেজি ২য় পত্রের ১ নম্বর প্রশ্ন Article নিয়ে আলোচনা করব। এই প্রশ্নে ছয়টি শূন্যস্থান সংবলিত একটি passage থাকবে। উপযুক্ত Article দিয়ে শূন্যস্থান পূরণ করতে হবে। আগে জেনে নাও। Article ব্যবহারের নিয়মগুলো।

The-এর ব্যবহার
# Material Noun এর পূর্বে The বসে না কিন্তু কোন নির্দিষ্ট স্থানের বা নির্দিষ্ট প্রকারের পদার্থ বোঝালে Material Noun এর পূর্বে The বসে। যেমন:
The water of this glass is pure.
The gold of South Africa is precious.
The perfume of France is praiseworthy.
#_Choir, orchestra এবং pop group এর পূর্বে The বসে। যেমন:
Nowadays the Miles is a very popular band in Bangladesh.
# কতিপয় collective noun আছে যারা স্বভাবতই plural, এদের পূর্বে The বসে। যেমন:
The elite enjoy the privilege of the State.
The audience applauded the singer.
# Musical instrument যখন বাজানো অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয় তখন এর পূর্বে The বসে। যেমন:
Nazmussehar can play the piano sonorously.
# সংখ্যা প্রকাশক word একটা unit অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হলে তার পূর্বে The বসে। যেমন:
He sells mangoes by the hundred / by hundreds [by the hundreds, dozens, scores হবে না ]
# Adjective যুক্ত কতিপয় Proper Noun বা Noun + Preposition + Proper Noun বা Noun এর পূর্বে The বসে। যেমন:
The National Zoo at Mirpur is visited by thousands of people everyday.
The Fort of Lalbagh is a place of historical interest in Bangladesh.
# বাকি অংশ ছাপা হবে আগামীকাল
