Shusong Durgapur is one of unseen beauties of Bangladesh. It is located under Netrokona district about 170 km. north of Dhaka. It has an amazing landscape with rivers, hills and mines. Nature seems to be glorified here. The Garo hills, the blue water of the pictorial mountain-valley, the gentle flow of the Someshwari river and the abandoned coal mines are alluring. It has also vibrant ethnic culture of Garo, Hajong, Achik and Mandi.
But the main attractions are the ceramic hill and the charming landscape along the Someshwari River. Some other attractions of Durgapur are palace of the king, the Dasha Busha Temple, Orange Gardens, Gajarie forests and Ramkrisna and Loknath Baba Temple, Thus Durgapur is an eye-catching destination.
