There is a proverb, 'Cut your coat according to your cloth.' We should be satisfied with what we earn in an honest way. In a developing country like ours, luxuries of all kinds should be avoided. The rich should not forget the pitiable condition of the common people. Some people earn money in the most unfair way.
বঙ্গানুবাদ: একটি প্রবাদ আছে, ‘আয় বুঝে ব্যয় করো।’ আমরা যা সৎ উপায়ে আয় করি, তা নিয়েই আমাদের সন্তুষ্ট থাকা উচিত। আমাদের মতো উন্নয়নশীল দেশে সব প্রকার বিলাসিতা এড়িয়ে চলা উচিত। সাধারণ মানুষের শোচনীয় অবস্থা ভুলে যাওয়া ধনীদের উচিত নয়। কিছু লোক অত্যন্ত অসাধু উপায়ে অর্থ উপার্জন করে।

The proverb says that Allah helps those who help themselves. A man, who relies on his own ability and does his work by himself is helped by Allah. Such a man is always crowned with success. The great virtue creates in him the confidence, which is essential for success in life. It is a self-confident man who only reaps the fruit of his labour in full.
বঙ্গানুবাদ: প্রবাদে আছে, যারা নিজেদের সাহায্য করে, আল্লাহ তাদের সহায় হন। যে ব্যক্তি নিজের সামর্থ্যের ওপর নির্ভর করে এবং নিজের কাজ নিজে সম্পন্ন করে, আল্লাহ তাকে সহায়তা করেন। এ ধরনের ব্যক্তি সব সময়ই সফলকাম হয়। এ মহৎ গুণ তার মধ্যে আত্মপ্রত্যয়ের সৃষ্টি করে, যা জীবনে সফলতার জন্য প্রয়োজনীয়। একমাত্র আত্মপ্রত্যয়ী ব্যক্তিই তার শ্রমের ফল পুরোপুরি ভোগ করতে পারে।

We must make the best use of our animals. Bangladesh is an agricultural country. There is almost no mechanized cultivation. All the works of cultivation depend on animal power. That is why, working animals are badly needed.
বঙ্গানুবাদ: আমাদের অবশ্যই পশুদের সর্বোত্তম ব্যবহার করতে হবে। বাংলাদেশ একটি কৃষিপ্রধান দেশ। দেশে প্রায় কোনো যান্ত্রিক চাষাবাদ নেই। চাষাবাদের সব কাজ পশুশক্তির ওপর নির্ভর করে। এ জন্য কর্মক্ষম পশু জরুরি প্রয়োজন।

We should bear the courage to say the right thing. We need out fear men nor care for with others think of us. So, long as our purpose is honest. God will be on our side, and with His help we shall be able to encourage the weak. Thus we shall be able to march in life and search its goal.
বঙ্গানুবাদ: সত্য কথা বলার সাহস আমাদের থাকা উচিত। মানুষকে ভয় পাওয়ার কিংবা অন্যরা আমাদের সম্পর্কে কী চিন্তা করে, তা নিয়ে উদ্বিগ্ন হওয়ার কোনো প্রয়োজন নেই। যতক্ষণ পর্যন্ত আমাদের উদ্দেশ্য সৎ থাকবে, সৃষ্টিকর্তা আমাদের পাশে থাকবেন এবং তাঁর সহায়তায় আমরা দুর্বলদের অনুপ্রাণিত করতে সমর্থ হব। এভাবে আমরা জীবনে এগিয়ে যেতে সক্ষম হব এবং জীবনের লক্ষ্য অনুসন্ধান করতে পারব।
